Tom took on the Vitality half-marathon to raise £300 for justice

Tom was one of two runners who took part in the Vitality Big Half Marathon on 1 March to fundraise for us – together raising more than £300 to help local people get justice.

Tom previously volunteered at our Merton office, and Carrie is a pro bono volunteer at our Guildford advice clinic.

Tom says:

‘Even though I only volunteered at the Law Centre for a year, it gave me an insight into the vital role that law centres play in society, not to mention how necessary they are today.

I wanted to thank the team for their incredible hard work and for teaching me so much, as well as to help raise vital funds for a critically underfunded public service.’

We’re really grateful to Carrie and Tom. Thank you both!
