Tom took on the Vitality half-marathon to raise £300 for justice
Tom was one of two runners who took part in the Vitality Big Half Marathon on 1 March to fundraise for us – together raising more than £300 to help local people get justice.
Tom previously volunteered at our Merton office, and Carrie is a pro bono volunteer at our Guildford advice clinic.
Tom says:
‘Even though I only volunteered at the Law Centre for a year, it gave me an insight into the vital role that law centres play in society, not to mention how necessary they are today.
‘I wanted to thank the team for their incredible hard work and for teaching me so much, as well as to help raise vital funds for a critically underfunded public service.’
We’re really grateful to Carrie and Tom. Thank you both!
