New Service – Support with eVisas
As the Home Office transitions to eVisas and digitises services, all Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) and most Biometric Residence Cards (BRCs) are set to expire on 31 December 2024. If your leave extends beyond that date, you may encounter difficulties proving your immigration status, which could affect your ability to leave or re-enter the UK.
This transition may be particularly challenging for individuals without smartphones, those with limited internet access, language barriers, digital illiteracy, or disabilities.
Fortunately, South West London Law Centres is here to help. We are now offering free support to assist with the transition to eVisas.
What support is available?
We can assist you in setting up your UKVI account, verifying your identity, and registering your ID document with your UKVI account.
Please note that we are unable to provide immigration advice as part of this service. Our support is specifically focused on helping you transition to your eVisa.
Who is eligible?
This service is available to anyone holding a Biometric Residence Permit, a Biometric Residence Card, or with a pending application for either.
How to access support?
We are committed to helping as many people as possible through this transition. If you are an existing client of South West London Law Centres, we will be reaching out to you directly. If you’re not already a client, you can contact us in a variety of ways:
By telephone, on 020 8767 2777 (9:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday)
By email to evisa@swllc.org
