Thank You for Supporting SWLLC at the London Legal Walk 2025

Last week, our team at South West London Law Centres (SWLLC) proudly took part in the London Legal Walk 2025, walking alongside thousands of others from across the legal and advice sector to stand up for access to justice.

Organised by the London Legal Support Trust, this annual event raises vital funds for free legal advice charities like ours, helping ensure that people facing debt, housing insecurity, domestic violence, or immigration challenges aren’t left to face them alone.

Our team walked with purpose and pride through central London, showing solidarity with our clients and colleagues across the sector. The walk was a chance to reconnect, reflect, and recommit to our shared mission of making justice accessible to everyone.

Thanks to your support, we’ve raised £425 so far towards our £500 fundraising goal — and there’s still time to help us get over the finish line. Our fundraising page is still open if you’d like to contribute!

Patrick Marples, CEO: “The Legal Walk is more than a fundraiser. It is a reminder that access to justice is a collective mission. By walking together, we raise vital funds, stand in solidarity with those who are struggling, and keep each other company in the shared belief that this work is important, that it is urgent, and that it changes lives.

Next up: we’re doing it all again at the Guildford Legal Walk on Wednesday 2 July! If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you. To support, you can:
1. Sign up to walk with us
2. Donate to the Guildford team

Let’s walk and build for a future where everyone can access justice. Thank you for being part of that journey with us.
