Without the free or low-cost legal services our charity provides, many people across south-west London would be locked out of getting justice, because they can’t afford a lawyer.

Last year we helped 6,663 people to understand and uphold their rights, stay in their homes, clear debts, resolve employment problems, protect themselves and their families, and access benefits to prevent them from being pulled into poverty.

You can read some of their stories, and hear from others in this clip from the BBC’s The One Show, recorded in January 2020.
