If you’ve been a victim of crime, or accused of a criminal offence, we can offer free initial advice to help you.
You’ll be advised by lawyers who volunteer their time to help people in our local community. They can help you understand your rights and the next steps you can take.
If you need advice, please get in touch using our contact form if you can.
Alternatively you can phone us on 020 8767 2777. Please note that our phone lines are very busy at the moment, and you may find it quicker to use our contact form if possible.
If you’ve been a victim of crime
If you’ve been a victim of crime, you should also contact the police. You can also phone Victim Support’s free and confidential Supportline on 0808 16 89 111.
If you’ve been accused of a crime
Although we can offer free initial advice, we don’t have criminal law solicitors at the Law Centre who can advise and represent you longer-term.
You can search for a solicitor who can support you. You should check if you’re eligible for legal aid, and contact a solicitor as soon as possible. They can let you know what to expect, represent your case and make sure you’re treated fairly.
