Temporary Accommodation Campaign

In our communities, many individuals and families find themselves in temporary accommodation, often residing in properties that fall short of acceptable living standards. At South West London Law Centres, we believe that everyone deserves access to safe and decent housing, especially those who are vulnerable or experiencing homelessness.

Our Temporary Accommodation Campaign is driven by the stories of the families and individuals who share with us their experience of hardships endured during their journey towards securing long-term housing. Their stories highlight the profound impact of inadequate housing conditions, exacerbating the challenges faced by those already in vulnerable situations.

We refuse to accept a reality where individuals and families are forced to endure substandard living conditions while striving to rebuild their lives.

This resident-led initiative aims at driving meaningful change in housing policies and practices. By engaging key stakeholders, including politicians and heads of services in Croydon and Wandsworth, we seek to streamline processes, expedite progress, and ultimately improve the lives of those experiencing housing issues in our communities.

We invite you to join us in our mission to ensure quality homes for all. Whether you’re a resident, a policymaker, or a concerned citizen, your support is crucial in driving positive change and building a more inclusive society.
