The Law Centres Network strives for a just and equal society where everyone’s rights are valued and protected.
It supports a national network of law centres like ours, that work with some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society.
Law Centres have existed since the early 1970s and work within their communities to defend the legal rights of local people. Specialising in social welfare law, they have an in-depth knowledge of the issues communities face. They use this knowledge to help people save their homes, keep their jobs and protect their families.
The Law Centres Network is the national voice of law centres and their clients, representing them at all levels of government and in various national forums.
If you’re on a low income and can’t afford a lawyer, you can search for your nearest law centre to find expert advice and support.
