The Law Centre is a resource for the whole community. Your time and skills can help us reach more people in need.

Our dedicated team of general volunteers help us reach more people locally, so they can get justice, uphold their rights and secure a better future for themselves and their families.

You don’t need to have legal qualifications to be a general volunteer. You just need to share our values of justice, equality and compassion – and want to put them into practice.

See this recent article from Judith, one of our volunteers, on why you should volunteer at SWLLC

Volunteering with us is a great way to gain experience and learn new skills. You can read what some of our previous volunteers have said about their time with us here.

At times we need volunteers with specific skills. Any such openings will be listed below. You can additionally still contact us at volunteers@swllc.org if you would like to volunteer with us, and bring your skillset to be part of meaningful work!
